This SEEMS like a nicely designed waterproof case, and it's such a pleasure when it works. Each time I've purchased one, I've gotten a few months of very enjoyable use -- and then the leaking begins. I've tried to find the source. is the water coming in through the headphone attachment? The seal around the hatch that opens and closes? The molded plastic window? I have never found the source, so I just buy a new one. I've come to regard it as a cost of swimming with audio, though the unpredictability is irritating. I never know exactly when my iPod shuffle is going to get soaked. (Miraculously, they sometimes survive.)

I'm sure it's not easy to design a case that keeps an iPod dry in a swimming pool, gives you some control over its operation, and lets you attach headphones, all without leaking. But they need to do a better job.
